PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork type flexural crystal vibration element which prevents a value of a crystal impedance from increasing due to a vibration vibrating in a direction parallel to a Z-axis and which enables an improvement of productivity.
SOLUTION: In a tuning-fork type flexural crystal vibration element, a pair of vibration arms are extending from a side surface of a tabular base part which has crystal axes consisted of an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis which are orthogonal to one another, and in which a thickness direction is parallel to the Z-axis. The pair of vibration arms are extending in the same direction parallel to the Y-axis. A groove is formed on each main surface of each of the vibration arms. The grooves are formed such that they are alternately shifted in a direction parallel to the Y-axis in order that bottom surfaces of the grooves do not face each other. Additionally, the grooves are formed such that they are alternately shifted in a direction parallel to the X-axis with respect to an imaginary line, which is parallel to the Y-axis and passes through a midpoint of an edge of the vibration arm parallel to the X-axis.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
