<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DPF heater that is large in a temperature rise of an exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The DPF heater comprises: a DPF 3 which is inserted into an exhaust passage 2 of the exhaust gas up to an atmosphere from an internal combustion engine of a vehicle with a power generation type retarder, and in which PMs are accumulated; a sub-discharge passage 4 which is arranged upstream of the DPF 3 and in which a portion of the discharge passage 2 is partitioned in the exhaust passage 2; an electric heater 5 arranged in the sub-discharge passage 4; and a power application control part 6 which performs control for applying the generated power of the power generation type retarder to the electric heater 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
