<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller that prevents deterioration of a belt or a pulley when performing Low-return. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle controller for controlling a vehicle includes: a continuously variable transmission having a primary pulley, a secondary pulley, and a V-belt; and a forward/backward travel switching mechanism which switches the direction of rotation transmitted from a driving source to the continuously variable transmission by switching the engagement state of a friction clutch. The vehicle controller includes: an interlock control means S105 for interlocking the forward/backward travel switching mechanism when the vehicle stops without the transmission ratio of the continuously variable transmission being a transmission ratio for starting; and a Low-return control means S106 for performing Low-return to reduce the contact radius between the primary pulley and the V-belt without rotating the primary pulley and the secondary pulley and to increase the contact radius between the secondary pulley and the V-belt, after interlocking the forward/backward travel switching mechanism by the interlock control means S105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
