<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line extending method capable of bringing a new power line into a state that it can be wired in a tension state between steel towers without heavily burdening a worker, even when the new power line is supported by a structure constructed in the vicinity of an object required to be spaced in order to secure a separation between the new power line and the object. <P>SOLUTION: In a power line extending method, a new power line delivered from a steel tower side erected at one position of two positions defining a section for extending a power line is pulled to a steel tower side erected at the other position of the two positions, and the new power line is stretched between the steel towers at the two positions in an overhead position spaced apart a required separation from an object required to be spaced located between the steel towers. The new power line present between the steel towers is supported by a roller mounted to a position with an upper side in an opened state in a structure arranged in the vicinity of the object required to be spaced, at an overhead position separating from the object by more than the required separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
