METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING BROADCAST SERVICE/CONTENT IN MOBILE BROADCAST SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR GENERATING SHORT TERM KEY MESSAGE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting a broadcast service and/or content in a mobile broadcast system, and a system thereof.

SOLUTION: For a short term key message (STKM) for protection of a broadcast service being broadcasted to a mobile terminal, a broadcast service subscription management (BSM) for managing subscription information transfers key information for authentication of the broadcast service to a broadcast service distribution/adaptation (BSD/A) for transferring the broadcast service, the broadcast service distribution/adaptation (BSD/A) generates a traffic encryption key (TEK) for deciphering the broadcast service in the mobile terminal and inserts it into the short term key message (STKM), and the broadcast service distribution/adaptation (BSD/A) executes message authentication code (MAC) processing on the short term key message (STKM) to which the traffic encryption key (TEK) is inserted using the key information, thereby generating a completed short term key message (STKM).
