<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image recording apparatus capable of reliably recording a moving image in a reproducible state. <P>SOLUTION: When image data stored in a RAM 104 amount to a prescribed number, a system controller 105 creates a moving image using the image data. The prescribed number is 50, for example, and in this case the moving image is composed of 50 frames. The moving image is recorded in an external recording medium 107 or a built-in memory 108.
