摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus and spectral image optimization method for acquiring an accurate spectral image by band limiting light of a desired wavelength band. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus includes: a wavelength filter unit which is provided with a pair of transmission substrates where reflection films are formed on the mutually facing surfaces, and a drive unit for changing the wavelength band of light transmitting through the pair of transmission substrates by moving the one transmission substrate to change an interval between the pair of transmission substrates, and also which filters white light from a light source device, made incident on one of the pair of transmission substrates and emits the band limiting light with a predetermined wavelength; a wavelength distribution detector for receiving a part of the light emitted or reflected by the wavelength filter unit and detecting wavelength distribution of the band limiting light; an optimization unit for optimizing the movement amount of the one transmission substrate thereby to make the wavelength distribution of the band limiting light be predetermined wavelength distribution; and a controller for controlling the drive unit, on the basis of the movement amount optimized by the optimization unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
