<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information useful in supporting the diagnosis of regenerative medicines to operators, which is used for discriminating the positive or negative nature of influence of glial cells on the recovery of nerve cells, concerning an MRI apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The MRI apparatus 10 includes: generation parts 61, 81 for respectively generating first volume data and second volume data by imaging the whole brain of a subject with two kinds of imaging methods; a nerve region extraction part 64 for extracting nerve regions, based on the first volume data; a brain infarction region extraction part 62 for extracting a brain infarction region, based on the first volume data and the second volume data; extraction parts 83, 84 for extracting vascular regions and a nutrition region, based on the second volume data; a regeneration stage classification part 85 for classifying respective voxels applicable to the extracted brain infarction region into multiple regeneration stages in the regenerative medicine of the brain infarction of the subject, based on the second volume data, the nerve regions and the nutrition region; and a display image generation part 92 for allowing a display 55 to display the brain infarction region classified into the multiple regeneration stages so as to visually recognize the respective regeneration stages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
