The rim (14a) has a base body (10a) made of a composite material, and an annular protection element (11a) covering the base body in a region of a rim flange (12a) in a mounted state. The protection element is positively and operatively connected with the base body. An attachment element is fixedly connected with the base body and the protection element. A rim bed (16a) is provided at a circumference of the base body such that a rubber tire (15a) is mounted on the rim bed in the mounted state. The protection element and the attachment element are designed as resilient rubber rings.
