The household appliance has a coolable storage space that is provided for placing refrigerated goods. A cooling device is used to cool the coolable storage space. The door panels (8,8') are provided for opening and closing of the storage space. The side wall (3-7) and door lining (9,9') are made up of stainless steel. The surface of side wall and door lining is heat-treated with nitrogen containing gas atmosphere at temperature of 1000-1200 [deg] C.
