The windshield wiper device (1) has a wiper arm rod (2) formed with a main wiper arm (3) and a control arm (4) coupled with a support portion (5) connected to a wiper blade (6) resting on the windshield (7). The main wiper arm is connected to the support portion and with a wiper shaft in a wiper bearing housing. A control arm bearing portion is mounted in the wiper bearing housing. A bearing bolt connected with the control arm is inserted into the control arm bearing portion.
