The device (24) has an anti-ferromagnetic layer (6) that contacts a free magnetic layer (5). A stabilization layer (7) is made of ferromagnetic material, and contacts the anti-ferromagnetic layer through its face opposite to the magnetic layer, where directions of magnetization of the magnetic and stabilization layers are perpendicular to each other. The direction of magnetization of the magnetic layer is oriented in a plane of the magnetic layer. The direction of magnetization of the stabilization layer is oriented in an outer side of a plane of the stabilization layer.
