Method for creating a taxiway in an airport area and associated device

The method involves performing decomposition of an instruction into successions of credible names corresponding to names of airport elements e.g. passing points, of an airport area using a lexical analysis device (3). Verification is made for each succession to determine whether a corresponding route is compatible with connectivities existing between the elements of the succession if two successions exist. The credible route is displayed on a display device (6) if only one credible route exists or if the route corresponds to the credible names and is compatible with the connectivities. An independent claim is also included for a system for creating a taxiing route over an airport area described in an airport database.
