<p>The invention relates to a cycle, in particular a bicycle (1), comprising a frame (2), wheels (3,4), an axle (5), pedals (6) mounted on the axle (5) via cranks (7), a transmission (8,9) coupling the axle (5) to at least one of the wheels (4), an electric motor (10) for driving at least one of the wheels (4), a means (13) for measuring the speed of the cycle (1), and a controller (11) for driving the motor (10) in dependence of the torque exerted on the axle (5). The means (13) for measuring the speed of the cycle (1) are coupled to a module (14) that is arranged to estimate, based on variations in the speed of the cycle (1), a parameter proportional to the torque exerted on the axle (5).</p> |
