PURPOSE: A thin film battery is provided to prevent capturing lithium ions between a negative electrode current collector layer and an electrolyte layer, thereby being capable of improving battery lifetime. CONSTITUTION: A thin film battery comprises: a positive electrode current collector layer(110) formed on one side of a substrate(100), a positive electrode active material layer(120) formed on the positive electrode current collector layer; a negative electrode current collector layer(130) formed on the other side of the substrate to be electrically separated from the positive electrode current collector layer; an electrolyte layer(140) formed to cover an exposed part of the positive electrode active material layer and an exposed part between the positive electrode current collector layer and the negative current collector layer; and a negative electrode active material layer(150) formed on the negative electrode current collector layer and the electrolyte layer.
