PURPOSE: A ring type tensioner is provided to control abrasion of a ring contact unit by surrounding a plunger and arranging an elastic ring. CONSTITUTION: A plunger(110) moves back and forth by being received in a receiving hole. The plunger is supported by a body. An elastic ring(120) surrounds the plunger. The elastic ring can expand and contract to a diameter direction. A ring contact unit(121) is received in a receiving groove(130).
