摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three dimensional fabricating method in which a complicated three dimensional microfabrication for a glass thin plate can easily be applied. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam 22 is scanned on a place to be fabricated of the glass thin plate 20 coated with a laser absorbent 30 and the glass thin plate is bent at the scanned position. The glass thin plate 20 absorbing the laser beam 22 is softened and expanded to swell the surface and is bent by surface tension when the swelled part is cooled and contracted. By the three dimensional fabricating method, the glass thin plate is formed into a complicated three dimensional shape so that the glass thin plate is linearly bent, curved to form a spherical shape or formed into a cylinder or a waved shape, and microfabrication can easily applied to the thin glass plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
