[Class 132 (i)] An exercising-device comprises a spring or springs secured at one end to one or more loops or straps adapted to be passed around the neck or shoulders of the user and at the other end to one or more loops or straps adapted to receive the user's feet or legs, the device being so dimensioned that when adjusted upon a user sitting with his legs extended, the spring is just tensioned. As shown in Fig. 1, a spiral spring 1 is secured to a padded neck loop 2 and to foot loops 3 having elastic heel elements 4. In Fig. 2, the foot loops are connected to separate springs 1 attached by straps 7 adapted to pass over the shoulder to a belt 5. The foot loops may be replaced by garter straps adapted to be secured to the legs just below the knee.</p> |
