PURPOSE: A filter system for a washstand is provided to prevent a pipe below washstand from being plugged by foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A filter system for a washstand comprises a stainless steel strainer holder which is installed in a pipe and is formed in the shape of a semi-ring, and a separable strainer which is combined with a semi-ring. The strainer is formed in the shape of a pouch for storing foreign materials. A ring part is made of elastic plastic and prevents foul odor.
