PURPOSE: An underwater engine consisting of the launching system of an underwater vehicle is provided to automatically launch an underwater vehicle by motorizing the underwater vehicle using a water controlling unit. CONSTITUTION: An underwater engine is consisting of an underwater vehicle(5), a launching unit(4), a launching tube(6), and a shrinkable piston(14). The launching tube is divided into a front part(7) and a rear part(8). The rear part of the launching tube is connected to a water tank(1). The water tank is connected to a water tube(13). A shrinkable piston is embedded in the rear part of the launching tube. The piston moves in the launching tube in order to launch the underwater vehicle.
