PURPOSE: An adaptive use of a wireless display is provided to allow a graphic display module to selectively delegate graphic process tasks to a display adaptor by using metadata and an available bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A first device receives graphic processing capabilities of a second device(400). The first device creates data for an image assuming than the second device will perform some image processing(402). The data for the image is encoded(404). The data for the image is wirelessly transmitted from the first device to the second device(406). The data for the image is decoded(410). The data for the image is processed based on instructions from the first device(412).
