PURPOSE: A mobile device method and a system thereof are provided to use locations of a wireless access gateway in order to supplement GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) location estimation. CONSTITUTION: A system detects wireless access gateways on a mobile device(402). The system determines closeness between the wireless access gateway and the mobile device(403). The system receives location data related to the detected wireless access gateways(404). The system adds the estimated locations by using the proximity(406). The system determines a location of the mobile device based on the added locations(408).
