The telescopic actuator has a retaining mechanism which includes a locking sleeve that sits over claws. The locking sleeve is mounted to rotate about the longitudinal axis (X) of sliding of a rod (3) between an angular locking position in which the claws are prevented from flexing and an angular release position in which the claws are free to flex. An actuating mechanism is designed to cause the locking sleeve to move on command from one position to another. |
