The method involves supplying order specific rebate arc characteristics (f1-fn) to a computer (1). The order-specific interface requirements (e1-em) and the respective general rebate arc characteristics (c1-cn) associated with the general section requirements (s1-sm) are determined by the computer using order-specific rebate arc characteristics. The cutting patterns (11), trimming patterns (12) and section patterns (13) of a database (2) are accessed by the computer based on the order-specific interface requirements as an order specific rebate preparation pattern (10). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) computer for creating order specific rebate preparation pattern; and (2) system for creating order specific rebate preparation pattern.
