<p>An integrated product of stainless steel and CFRP used in hydrogen storage tanks, food processing machinery, medical equipment, general machinery and other machinery is made to be a product that is lighter and has a more rational design. It has been found that a stainless steel material 22 having special constant ultra-fine irregularities on the surface thereof is compatible with an epoxy resin adhesive and exhibits thus strong adhesion. A stainless steel composite 20 can be produced by integrating stainless steel thick plate pieces 22 as a cover material with a CFRP 21 using this technique, and the composites can be assembled with other metal members through bolt fastening. Also, structural members having the CFRP 21 in the main structure and metal at the ends can be easily produced by virtue of the above strong adhesion. These structural members can be easily assembled with and disassembled from other part by way of bolts/nuts and screws.</p> |
