PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature compensating type optical fiber Bragg grating for compensating temperature with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The temperature compensating type optical fiber Bragg grating formed with a grating part at a part of an optical fiber and formed by fixing the optical fiber including the grating part, to a base material, is formed by fixing the optical fiber including the grating part, to the base material including a combination of two or more kinds of negative expansion fibers. Preferably, there are two kinds of negative expansion fibers and that the difference between the linear expansion coefficients of these negative expansion fibers is≤5×10<SP>-6</SP>.
