<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary and self-traveling endoscope system preventing an intestinal tract from moving and shortening an examination time. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary and self-traveling endoscope system includes: an insertion part 12 having a rotary tube 14 with a helical projection arranged in at least a part of the outer peripheral side; a motor 81 for rotating the rotary tube 14 around the insertion axis of the insertion part 12; a controller 3 for controlling the rotary direction, rotary speed, and rotary time of the rotary tube 14; and a resistance force generating mechanism inside an insertion auxiliary tool 20, which adjusts the advance force of the rotary tube 14 in the insertion axis direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
