<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor with an electromagnetic brake that reliably releases the bite-in type brake by a small absorption force, that is compact and reduced in power consumption with low noise. <P>SOLUTION: When starting the electric motor 1, a control part 4 rotates a second brake disk 16 by a prescribed amount in a direction opposite to the direction of a rotative force acting on a rotor shaft 6 while leaving brake release operation started, thus releasing the bite-in type brake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
