[Class 132 (ii)] For filling golf ball cores with a fluid such as buckwheat honey, the said fluid 21 is heated in a rotatable container 11 by a water-jacket 12 supporting a waterheater 15 above a gas burner 6, and the heated honey is led by passages 41 to a series of pump cylinders 38 carried by the rotor 11 and terminating in depending hypodermic needles 39, which.. as described in Specification 438,800, pierce and support without other aid the rubber spherical cores 53. The rotor is driven by a motor 24 through belt and worm drives and a clutch 31, and the pump pistons 43 are reciprocated by a fixed cam 4 and by pivoted levers 45 carrying weights 44 at adjustable distances, adjustable stops 48 controlling the stroke and thus the quantity of honey delivered to the cores 53.
