A bracket 102 suitable for vehicle glazing 103 preferably a laminated vehicle glazing 103 which can be moved up or down. The bracket 102 comprises at least one expansion slot 134, 136 which absorbs thermal expansion or contraction of the bracket, thereby minimising the forces acting on the glazing 103 and reducing the likelihood of damage. Optionally the bracket comprises a channel 112 for housing the glazing unit 103 and the channel 112 extends substantially along the whole length of the body. There may be two expansion slots 134, 136 which may be located in a sidewall 130 of the channel 112 and adjacent a base 132 of the channel 112. The expansion slot(s) 134, 136 preferably project outwardly from the channel 112 and downwardly towards the base 132 of the channel 112. The first and optional second expansion slots 134, 136 may be located remote from one another. |
