A network device and method for solving address conflicts are disclosed. The network device includes: a storing module, configured to store the ID information bound to the network device; and a synchronizing module, configured to synchronize the ID information of a removable component of the network device with the ID information stored in the storing module. The method includes: storing the fixed ID information bound to the network device; and synchronizing the ID information of the removable component of the network device with the fixed ID information bound to the network device.
