PURPOSE: Wireless power transmission apparatus and a method are provided to limit power voltage of power amplifier within a stability range by comparing reference value based on detected voltage current and certain standard. CONSTITUTION: A detection unit(210) detects supply voltage and supply current of a power amplifier. A control unit(220) calculates supply voltage based on detected supply voltage and the supply current. The control unit determines a reference current based on the detected supply voltage and the supply current. A blocking unit(230) blocks supply of the supply power with the power amplifier based on a comparing result of the detected supply current and the reference current. The detection unit detects the voltage applied to both ends of resistance of a transistor connected with the power amplifier. The detection unit detects the supply current based on voltage applied to both ends of resistance and the resistance.
