PURPOSE: A dish washer and a control method thereof are provided to spray washing water to objects using third arm while rotating around a rotary shaft which is vertical to first and second arms. CONSTITUTION: A dish washer comprises a tub, an injecting arm(6), a sump, and a filter. The sump collects washing water sprayed from the injecting arm. The filter removes foreign matters in the washing water from the sump. The injecting arm comprises first and second arms(61,63). The first arm is rotationally placed inside the tub, and sprays the washing water to objects. The second arm is connected to reciprocate around a rotary shaft in a line with the first arm. The second arm is supplied with the washing water from the first arm, and injects the washing water to the filter. |
