PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to improve the charging characteristics of a gate driving voltage according to the load change of each section of a liquid crystal display panel by using a variable clock signal. CONSTITUTION: A data timing control signal includes a source start pulse, a source sampling clock, and a source output enable signal. The source start pulse controls a data sampling start point of a data driver circuit. The source sampling clock controls the sampling operation of data in the data driver circuit. A polarity control signal reverses the polarity of a data voltage to a cycle of a horizontal period. The source output enable signal controls the output timing of the data driver circuit. A gate timing control signal includes a gate start pulse(VST), gate clock pulses(GCLK1-GCLK4), a gate output enable signal, and a variable clock signal(FLK_Sequential). |
