PURPOSE: An error compensation apparatus in a terminal station and method thereof are provided to accurately maintain synchronization by compensating for clock errors between a control station and the terminal station. CONSTITUTION: An error compensation control unit(20) computes clock errors between a control station and a terminal station based on reference burst which is received through a reception unit. The error compensation control unit controls a transmission timing control module(30) in order to synchronize traffic burst with the reference burst in error compensation time by applying the clock errors to the transmission timing control module. The error compensation control unit controls a reception timing control module(10) in order to synchronize the traffic burst with the reference burst in the error compensation time by applying the clock errors to the reception timing control module.
