<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse radar apparatus, capable of detecting relative distance to a target with a high degree of accuracy after shortening the signal transmission time interval required to obtain once high-resolution ranging result within the extent applicable to a distance to its proper target to be detected, even if the relative velocity between a pulse radar apparatus and the target is not 0. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse radar apparatus transmitting transmitted pulse train where transmission frequency changes at each of predetermined frequency intervals for each pulse repetition cycle in the direction of the target and receiving reflective signal obtained for each pulse repetition cycle to generate one component video signal and Q components video signal, includes a transmitted pulse train generating means for generating transmitted pulse train so as to transmit, at different frequencies for each pulse by making the frequency difference of adjacent transmitted pulse to be larger than the signal passband width of a receiver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
