<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract diversified retrieval results with the minimum operation by enabling desired conditions to be inputted easily and a floor plan to be retrieved efficiently by using a user interface having improved operability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A building information retrieval system comprises: a storage means storing a group of design data of a building including information indicating a completed floor plan and the price; a retrieval interface 14 accepting the input of a plurality of retrieval conditions 30 with a retrieval key given to each design data 22 as a retrieval target; an output image generation means 16 generating an output image 34 by editing design data 22 where the retrieval conditions 30 are hit; and a screen output means 18 generating a screen 36 for output that can be displayed continuously by arranging the output image 34 of design data 22 where all the retrieval conditions 30 are hit at the top, arranging the output image 34 of the design data 22 where the retrieval conditions 30 having higher priority are hit near the top, and arranging the output image 34 of the design data 22 where the retrieval conditions 30 having lower priority are hit at the rear.
