PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and precisely measuring the degree of multilayering without requiring a process of dying or transcription. SOLUTION: A confocal laser microscope is used to observe autofluorescence emitted by a sampled stratum corneum, image data divided in the height direction of the stratum corneum are compared and analyzed, and the multilayer exfoliation state of the stratum corneum is measured.
