PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc substrate molding machine having functional advantages of both a hydraulic disc substrate molding machine and a motorized disc substrate molding machine, in the disc substrate molding machine for molding the disc substrate by injecting a molten resin into a cavity formed between a cavity side part and a movable half. SOLUTION: This disc substrate molding machine 11 molds a disc substrate by injecting a molten resin into the cavity 68 formed between the cavity side part 26 and the movable half 32. The molding machine 11 comprises a mold opening/closing mechanism driven by a servo motor 35 and a mold clamping mechanism equipped with a mold clamping cylinder 29 driven by a servo motor 47.
