PURPOSE: A car sharing system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to return a sharing car in desired place. CONSTITUTION: A mobile type user terminal(200) receives search condition information of a car from a user. The mobile type user terminal transmits the search condition information to a car sharing management server(100) and receives a car information list. The mobile type user terminal guides location information of car information selected in the car information list. A car terminal(300) performs a car operation through a control signal received from the car sharing management server.
