QUAY USING WASTE RAILWAY SLEEPER

摘要

PURPOSE: A quay using a waste concrete sleeper is provided to remarkably reduce construction time and costs by forming blocks using waste concrete sleepers and constructing the quay using the blocks. CONSTITUTION: A quay using a waste concrete sleeper comprises oncrete sleepers, a foundation(120), blocks(100), and mixed aggregate. A pair of shoulders with fastening holes are formed in both sides of the top of each concrete sleeper. The foundation is formed by continuously arranging the concrete sleepers on the ground. The blocks are formed by assembling the concrete sleepers loaded on the top of the foundation. The gaps between the piled blocks are filled with the mixed aggregate.
