PURPOSE: A washing and dehydrating apparatus for a self-rotation type wet mop is provided to improve the washing efficiency by reducing the rotation speed of a self-rotation type wet mop to maximize contact between the mop and washing water. CONSTITUTION: A washing and dehydrating apparatus for a self-rotation type wet mop comprises a housing(110), a dehydrating unit(120), a washing unit(130), a scattering prevention member(140), a moving handle(150), and an elastic holding unit(160). The washing unit comprises a support protrusion(131), a ring gear, a second screw coupling part, and a disk plate(137). The support protrusion, formed at the top of the washing unit, is formed with a plurality of first screw coupling parts at regular intervals. First screw coupling grooves corresponding to the first screw coupling parts are formed at regular intervals on the outer periphery of the washing unit. The ring gear is fixed to the support protrusion by a set screw. The elastic holding unit is caught in an arc-shaped holding groove, which is formed in a dust cloth attachment member of a self-rotation type wet mop, when washing the self-rotation type wet mop.
