PURPOSE: A light curtain illumination device using a traveling wind generator and a controlling method therefor are provided to improve the light-shielding layer function for roads by installing the light curtain illumination device in the upper end of a median strip or a guide rail. CONSTITUTION: A wind running generator(2) is fixed at the upper end of a guide rail. An illuminating portion(3) is installed at the body of the wind running generator. A fixed frame part is installed at one side of the body. A control box(5) controls the wind running generator and sensors. The illuminating portion emits light to a road.
