PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling the fuel pressure of a variable fuel vehicle is provided to improve engine safety and drivability by variably controlling a fuel pump which deliveries fuel from a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the fuel pressure of a variable fuel vehicle comprises following steps. Information on a vehicle state is collected(S20). A target pressure value corresponding to the state information and driving state is set(S30). A fuel pump is controlled to delivery fuel in a fuel tank according the target pressure value(S40). The target pressure value is corrected on the basis of the result of measured fuel pressure supplied to an injector(S50). The target pressure value corresponding to the state information and driving state of a vehicle is set on the basis of a policy on setting the target pressure.
