PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing dust on a brush for a cleaner is provided to prevent air pollution in a room, and to remove foreign matters around a dust tub using a suction hose. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing dust on a brush for a cleaner comprises a body, a brush roll(40), and a dust collecting unit(60). A suction plate is settled on the body. The brush roll is detachably installed inside the body. The brush roll rotates by a driving unit, and removes foreign matters on the brush. The brush roll comprises a roll(41) and a base material(42). The base material is formed in a spiral direction along the circumference of the roll. The dust collecting unit is installed at the lower part of the brush roll, and collects the foreign matters from the brush.
