PURPOSE: A changing speed method of nonstep variable speed gear is provided to enhance the shift efficiency by preventing the shift of the sub gearshift according to the driving state of vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Driving pulley(132) rotates by the first reduction gear. Driven pulley(136) and driving pulley are connected to an input shaft of a sub gearshift. Belt(134) is coiled to the driven pulley. Stepless speed changer(130) changes the speed without notice by continuously changing a driven pulley and a driving pulley. Sub gearshift(140) shifts to second gear using two epicyclic gear sets, a break, and a clutch. [Reference numerals] (100) Engine
