PURPOSE: A 3D image converting device, a 3D image converting method using the same, and a storage medium thereof are provided to converting a 2D image into a 3D image having a high-quality 3D effect based on a manufacture intention for contents corresponding to the 2D image. CONSTITUTION: An image converting unit(130) identifies a second frame selected from plural frames. The image converting unit obtains second depth information of a second object selected from the second frame. The image converting unit obtains third depth information of a third object selected from a third frame by using one or more of first depth information and the second depth information. The image converting unit generates fourth depth information based on the first, the second, and the third depth information. The image converting unit renders an input image according to the fourth depth information.
