PURPOSE: A switch apparatus for vehicles is provided to locate a symbol at the center of a lighting area by changing the lighting area of a switch lamp. CONSTITUTION: A switch housing(110) includes a space formed in the inside thereof. A switch(120) is installed in the center of the switch housing. A lighting part(130) is installed in the switch housing. The lighting unit is separated from the switch. A cover film covers the switch housing. The cover film has a symbol indicating a switch function. The lighting unit includes a mounting part inclined to the switch side, and a light source combined with the mounting part. The light source is composed of LEDs. The symbol is arranged on the center of the switch housing to be corresponded to the switch.
