<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for human body which reduces operation of an air bag in response to a motion except tumble. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag device for human body integrates angular velocity values stored in a storage part for a predetermined range from the latest detection. When an integral value thereof is larger than a predetermined value, the air bag 1 inflates. The air bag device distinguishes the case where an angular velocity gradually increases, such as when a user actually tumbles, from the case where the angular velocity instantaneously increases, such as a rapid change in posture except the tumble, based on the integral value of the angular velocity, with high accuracy. The tumble is determined only when the angular velocity has an increase tendency even when a determination condition based on the acceleration and the angular velocity is satisfied. The air bag device distinguishes a tumble motion where the angular velocity has the increase tendency, such as when the user tumbles over on a down slope, for example, and a non-tumble motion where the angular velocity has a decrease tendency, such as when getting up from a stooping state, for example. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
