<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using and installing a drain member which is easy to transport, without changing the size of a cross-sectional area of the drain member. <P>SOLUTION: A flexible drain member 1 is formed in less than or equal to such a length as to be conveyed by transportation means and carried to an installation site, and the drain member is extended to a desired length by a connector to form a burying drain member. The burying drain member is pulled into and housed in a mandrel in a drain installation device by mounting a hanging metal to one end of the burying drain member and inserting a rope from an upper opening of the mandrel to a lower opening, the burying drain member is buried in the soil by mounting an anchor plate to a lower end of the drain member and press-fitting the mandrel into the soil by the drain installation device, and the rope is removed from the hanging metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
